University Accommodation
The accommodation at the university is of a very good standard and offers individual rooms for occupancy. The university offers a safe and comfortable environment for teams to enjoy with both the University and Team Tours Direct doing all we can to ensure your enjoyment throughout the week. The university accommodation is available from mid-day on the day of teams arrival and teams that have chosen the half board option will have their first meal between 4pm and 6pm before going onto the opening ceremony.
Penbryn
Penbryn is situated on the University's Penglais Campus near to the academic buildings, the Arts Centre, the Students' Union and the sports facilities.
The majority of the study bedrooms in Penbryn are single rooms. Every room has a washbasin. Terraced on the side of a hill, many rooms have fine views of Aberystwyth and the surrounding countryside.
Cwrt Mawr
Cwrt Mawr is situated at the highest point of the University's Penglais Campus.
Ten separate blocks each contain six self-contained, self-catering flats, housing nine to eleven people. Most rooms are single bedrooms.
There is also a well-equipped launderette next to the communal block.
Seafront
The University-managed Seafront Residences comprises of Aberglasney, Balmoral, Blaenwern, Caerleon, Carpenter, Ceredigion, Glyndwr, Ty Gwerin, and Pumlumon have all been refurbished or rebuilt between 1999 and 2001 and offer well-equipped single room accommodation in flats of varying sizes.
Pentre Jane Morgan
Pentre Jane Morgan or PJM as it is known comprises of individual houses designed to accommodate groups of 5 and 6 people in single study bedrooms, sharing a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities.
This complex has central facilities on the site which houses a laundry room. The Student Village is very close.
Trefloyne
Trefloyne, completed in 1991, is located on Penglais Campus and is adjacent to Cwrt Mawr. Each self-contained flat accommodates 7 people and is well equipped. A launderette is located at Rosser and Cwrt Mawr.
Rosser
Rosser was completed in the summer of 1992. Each self-contained flat is well equipped and provides single bedrooms with en-suite facilities for 8 people. A launderette is shared with Trefloyne.

Self Catering
- Self-Catering – Teams have the independence to organise their own food within their accommodation.
- B & B – This option will ensure that teams and their supporters start off the day with a good hot cooked breakfast, leaving the rest of the catering requirements for the individual teams to choose for themselves.
- Half Board – A good hot cooked breakfast to start the day in addition to a hot evening meal to look forward to meaning teams only have to organise their lunch for themselves.
- Full Board – All of your catering needs are cared for, a full hot breakfast, then a tasty hot lunch followed by a hot cooked evening meal.
